ID Arts Knitters/Needlecrafts Group
led by Jennifer Hu

Sunday June 8, 2008 2 - 5pm
$10/$5 students, unemployed (Free for Monthly Donors)
We will begin with Sitting Meditation
Lila Center
302 Bowery, 2nd Floor (Between Houston & Bleecker)

We'll begin with a short meditation session and then we knit or crochet! For the experienced knitter or crocheter, you already know how "meditative" the experience can be. For the ofttimes frustrated novice, this will be a great supportive group to come for advice and commiseration! After all, knitting and frogging (exuberantly ripping out hours and hours worth of work!) is an integral part of what we do!

No experience necessary and all levels of expertise are welcome - that goes for the guys too! There is something for everyone, from novice instruction and advice to advanced stitch patterns and tips. Bring your own pattern or something you're working on if you just want to work in a group setting. Pattern, yarn, equipment trades and loans are encouraged!

We are currently looking forward to donating a portion of our efforts to various charitable organizations in the future. So come often and join the fun!

People brand-new to meditation also welcome!
