Getting Your Donation Setup is Easy!

We have big plans with theIDproject.com and we hope that you are with us on this journey. We are looking for volunteers that will help the community out to become a better place for all of us. Making donations of any size can help many people that are in need.

In order to give a donation you’ll want to talk to your lead in theIDProject. They’ll be able to help you route the donation to those that need it most.

We personally thank you for taking the time to try and help those less fortunate around us.

Guest Lecture Series

Our Guest lecture series was designed to bring you the best in the industry. This sit down lecture series features teachers, mentors, activists, artists and other great thinkers alike. Our goal is to bring you new ideas that help you transform your practices of mediation, and Buddhist thought.

You’ll experience lifelong lectures from top notch speakers like: John Laheel, Shabel Laheem, Aarawka Hakadshi, John Peels, Priest John, Hansel Lakeem and much more.

“Get Up, Sit Down and Breathe Freely”

John Laheel

“Rise Early and Another Fresh Day”

John Peels

Starting up with yoga

Yoga has been a rapid growing method of exercise and it has been taken by not only young aged people who wants to have a better health but to those who have the age as well. Age cannot be considered when it comes to health and there are many reasons why maintaining your health nowadays is becoming a need and a must. And starting up a yoga class requires a lot of knowledge about the exercise and understanding it well to avoid injuries during the sessions taken by a client.

To get started with establishing a yoga class, you need to have the proper training and manuals; this is because you need proper knowledge of what you are going to teach your clients. And like any other exercise, it starts from the lowest level to avoid strains to the muscles of the client, especially old people that are taking the sessions with you. You also need to have an instructor who has a wide spectrum of knowledge about this exercise to lead some part of the team of clients taking the sessions. And when your team grows, you will require having more and more instructors to provide instructions and services to your clients.

The initial cost of starting a yoga clinic will depend on the place you are in, but basically, it will cover the pay for the instructors, the place where you are going to hold sessions into if you do not own the place, the bills of power and water for the place of the sessions, some taxes and permits to let you operate. It will also cover mostly the equipment needed for the sessions if there are any like most exercises and some necessary needs not only by you and your instructors but also for the clients as well.

Recommended place is where to put your center of operations where you are going to hold your sessions in. It must be close to where your clients would want to go, or to where there’s a high demand of health and fitness such as residential community where people can have an easy access to your session center. It is also recommended that you establish a sessions center near offices to provide health and wellness to people that are on the go, especially people that work through the hours in offices, since they consider not having time to go to a far place just to get their workout sessions especially yoga. You can start a survey for an area of prospect to where you are going to start up a yoga session center and know how many are expected to have a go with your center.

Most fitness gyms will just have weight trainings and muscle and other types of specific trainings that they provide to their clients. While as you will provide the maximum training to your clients especially to those who cannot find time to squeeze from their work and other things that they need to do.

The physiological effects of Buddhist meditation is truly staggering. The actual act of meditation can be extremely elusive, yet simple at the same time. Often described as a state of bare attention in which your mind is extremely alert and in a skillful state of mind because your mind is literally within itself and only paying attention to that state.

Meditation is a greatly physical action in which one sits quietly, focusing on the internal breath, word or phrase. Generally a meditator is walking or standing nearby, helping guide the meditator throughout the process. It generally isn’t unusual to see a monk walking several steps and lying down over and over until he reaches that moment of his destination.

Generally there are many ways to perform meditation, but the one thing that really matters is whether or not you feel better in the end. James Hill often states, “If you are feeling better than when you started at the end, then chances are you are probably doing it right”

For most people meditation is difficult, even though its a very simple task. No matter how difficult it can be, try and push through it. Its often difficult to overcome the internal chatter, but generally there’s a moment in time when it all goes away and that’s the beauty of the experience.

Finding a method to reduce the internal chatter greatly helps reduce stress of the initial start of meditation. People often have anxiety when first trying meditation. Overall sticking with it is great as it helps facilitate a higher level of consciousness.

Mark Sumpter, a psychiatrist in the New York area mentions that meditation can actually raise a persons level of anxiety because of disowning feelings and thoughts. With meditation there is no where to hide those ideas, and for this reason its good and bad news for several individuals.

The person needs to be open and non defensive when performing meditations. You must be in the present and take away from these preexisiting thoughts and feelings of meditation. Push the ideas thoughts and feelings out for a moment and focus on the internal. Sumpter talks about comparing Zen to psychoanalytical theories and talks about how practitioners often become aware of the distorted aspects of overly individualistic views of our human experience. Understanding that the true nature of all individuals is actually non-individual is this moment of zen.

Our famous EVT Rcaction is unlike any other Vipassana Meditation retreat in existence. Most of our students transform their lives at these events.

Vipassana, which means to see things really as they are, is India’s oldest techniques of meditation. It was rediscovered in 2500 years ago and has been taught by his disciples for the last 2,500 years since its discovery.

This is a non-sectarian technique which helps aim for total eradication of our mental problems and results in the highest level of happiness after full liberation. Generally our EVT Rcaction are 7 full days in which you’ll prescribe to the general Code of Discipline, learn the basic methods and then explore full meditation.

The course is not for the faint of heart and is serious work. Some general rules from the Code of Discipline include:

Abstain from killing (anything)

Abstain from stealing

Abstain from sexual activity

Abstain from speaking falsely

Abstain from intoxicants

The goal is full mastery over the mind by learning to focus on your inner natural reality and the ever changing flow of breath as it enters and leaves the nostrils.

Generally by the fourth day of our course the mind is much calmer and focused, better able to take on the full Vipassana course: in which observing through sensations throughout the body, you understand the true nature and develop a way of learning not to react to them.

The entire process is a mental training. Just like training our muscles through working out, we train our mind to develop its muscles. Because of the course has been proven to work if you put 100% into it, you need to be ready for full radical change.

Our Hardcore Summer Classes aren’t for the weak of heart.

During our advanced summer courses we practice things such as:

Advanced guidance

This is the act of short breaths focused on new breathing techniques

Deep As You Go Philosophy

These techniques are used to take you as deep as you can go into the subconscious of your mind and physical relaxation. Its almost like a sense of Hypnosis, although self induced.

Please keep in mind that its extremely difficult for the beginner to practice and learn from our Hardcore Summer classes so we don’t recommend them coming. They are often lengthy and very complex, utilizing techniques from our beginner and intermediate courses. You must have a highly developed meditation skills or unfortunately you won’t be able to go deep enough. The poses and techniques often require very long periods of time and beginners simply won’t be able to sit/relax for that long of time. A good way to know if you are ready is if you often find yourself disappointed because you wanted to go deeper.

If after internal dialogue you are still unsure whether you should attend, it may be best to just give it a go once. The ultimate goal of advanced meditation is to achieve total oneness with universal energy as a whole. TO have divine free love flowing throughout you and from you. This is often difficult as many people cannot experience this in their lifetime. This requires serious devotion and dedication to meditation skills to achieve this level. Typically a much evolved soul with no attachments or lingering feelings and prejudices can achieve this state.

Our meditation podcasts are designed to help our listeners in their everyday lives. Its produced by a highly qualified staff that is dedicated to help you receive a higher level of being.

The podcasts are designed to utilize tones that help the brain achieve a pattern similar to REM sleep. Using deep state of relaxation and brain waves that help synchronize well with our body.

Our podcasts are like an audio book, using advanced technologies called binaural beats, to slow the brainwaves along with guided imagery to help feel free!

Its best to use headphones with the podcasts as they utilize technology that requires no distractions and full depth in clarity.

Notes: Is there something bugging you in your life and driving you crazy? We all have this type of feeling of frustration and anger and there’s a way to deal with it. Whether its a person, coworker, friend or family member. Maybe its not an individual person, but an event. We will help you find that inner peace and clarity that extends far beyond the reach of normal meditation.
